Morton to Packwood
Catch a movie or live performance at Morton’s historic Roxy Theater. View the renovated 1910 Morton Depot. Visit Taidnapam Park at Riffe Lake offering camping, picnicking, boating and swimming. Stop at the Cowlitz River Fishing Bridge. Stop in at Packwood’s White Pass Country Historical Museum for a historical area perspective.
Packwood to White Pass
Experience La Wis Wis National Forest Campground offering camping, picnicking, short hiking trails and pretty photo opportunities along the river. Take in striking roadside views of Mt. Rainier at viewpoints along the road. Take a walk along Leech Lake in the summer months, or explore by snowshoe in the winter.
White Pass to Naches
Visit Clear Creek Falls Overlook east of the White Pass summit and walk the short interpretive trail. Take in the scenic waterfall views. Get close to nature on the Sand Ridge Trail. Head to the Clear Lake Day Use Area providing a picnic shelter, boat launch, picnic grounds, restrooms and a stretch of the Great Washington State Birding Trail.
